The Threefold Cord of Fear, Stubbornness, and Rebellion

A spirit of fear works with a spirit of stubbornness and rebellion.
Fear, stubbornness, and rebellion will immobilize you for the journey Lot's wife was afraid to let go of her past and therefore she entered into a place of stubbornness because she "looked back" when she was instructed not to, which is an act of rebellion. She then turned into a pillar of salt and didn't go anywhere. #immobilized Genesis 19:17-26 King Saul was afraid to destroy what he thought was valuable and therefore he entered into a place of stubbornness because he "spared" the life of King Agag, his best sheep, oxen, fatlings, and lambs (1 Samuel 15:9) when he was instructed to destroy them all which is an act of rebellion.  (1 Samuel 15:23) He was then rejected from moving forward as King. #immobilized 1 Samuel 15 : 23 Ananias was afraid to give all his profit to the Lord from the selling of his land and therefore he entered into a place of stubbornness because he "kept back part of the proceeds" (Acts 5 : 1-3) when everyone else gave their "all"  (Acts 4:32-36) but he decided to appear as though he was on one accord which is not only an act of rebellion but deception.  He then dropped dead after being questioned by the Apostle Peter #immobilized Acts 5:5 Sapphira was not only afraid to stand up for righteousness when she knew her husband was being deceptive, (Acts 5:2)but she was also afraid to tell the Apostle Peter the truth. (Acts 5:8).  She then entered into a place of stubbornness by lying when she had the opportunity to tell the truth.  She "tested (deceived)" the Spirit of the Lord (Acts 5:9) which is an act of rebellion.  She then breathed her last breath.  #immobilized Acts 5:10 Let's not allow this threefold cord of fear, stubbornness, and rebellion to operate in our lives. If you have been fearful in anyway most likely you can become stubborn and ultimately rebellious.  so many people are afraid to step into the new and they've hardened their hearts to the things of God and became disobedient.  Disobedience is rebellion.   Sever the threefold cord of fear, stubbornness,  and rebellion today because God did not give you a spirit of fear,  but of love, power, and a sound mind.    Emmanuel Allen
