Ruined Plans Can Produce Powerful Results!

Background reading II Corinthians 12:7-10 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong II Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I sat at my desk eating Häagen-Dazs® carmelized pear and toasted pecan ice cream, I thought to myself, “if life could be as good as this ice cream”. Every bite was refreshing and I just couldn't stop eating it. Matter-of-fact, I ate the whole pint. The ice cream was so delicious that I started reading about how they came up with this unique flavor. It all started in 2007 when Häagen-Dazs®asked ice cream lovers to create their next flavor. Believe it or not this winning inspiration resulted when a power outage ruined a ladies plans for a pear tart. So she improvised, caramelizing pears on her gas stove and combining them with pecans over Häagen-Dazs®ice cream. This award winning ice cream beat out 4,999 other entries. Wow! It's amazing how when uncontrollable difficulties arise in our lives, we can become the most creative people. Sometimes our best is hidden inside of us and it takes hardships to bring it out of us. We've seem to developed this mind set that everything should be convenient and go as planned. If everything was to always go as planned, we wouldn't need to trust in God. God allows the struggles, insults, and persecutions in our lives so that He can rise up inside us to produce creativity and divine ability. The young lady would have never produced an award -winning gourmet ice cream if all went well with her original pear tart. God wants to stretch us in our thinking. He always has a far better plan for us than we have for ourselves. We have to learn to take the limits off of God and step into His supernatural abilities. The apostle Paul stated, “Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” Paul realized that God's strength and power is most effective in his time of weakness or ruined plans. He saw life as good as Häagen-Dazs® ice cream even during crisis moments because he knew that Jesus Christ would give him divine strength. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Turn It Up! .........Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong II Corinthians 12:9-10 (NKJV) We've seem to developed this mind set that everything should be convenient and go as planned. If everything was to always go as planned, we wouldn't need to trust in God. How do you view your hardships? Do you allow God's divine strength to arise inside of you during your time of distress? Trust HIM! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Power of Agreement Jesus says, “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven. For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My Followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them. (Matt. 18:19-20 Amplified) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's Pray Together .......Heavenly Father, I thank you for always having a plan for my life even when I don't understand it. Renew my mind so that I may see how your grace is sufficient for me and strengthen me so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Ignite creativity inside of me so that I may produce powerful results. I declare that my latter shall be greater than my former and what the enemy meant for evil, you will turn it around for my good In Jesus Name Amen!

The Children's Bread

Mark 7:25-30 New King James Version (NKJV) 25 For a woman whose young daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet. 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”28 And she answered and said to Him, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.”29 Then He said to her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”30 And when she had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed. -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- -------- --------
Deliverance is for God's children, its their bread. There are a lot of people that believe in God but need deliverance. There are a lot of people in the church that need deliverance. Deliverance is a blessing and should be desired by God's people. This is why Jesus said “Let the children be filled first”. God's people should not be ashamed of deliverance. Those who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness shall be filled (Matt. 5:6) Only those who crave for righteousness will be filled. We should crave deliverance. Deliverance helps you live righteous because demons hinder you from developing spiritually. In the text the woman was a Greek by birth which disqualified her from being a descendent of Abraham and an heir by birth. This is why the Lord ignored her plea and told her that “it was not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.” However the woman had unrestricted faith that open the door for her to be a true spiritual daughter of Abraham which entitled her to bread. The Lord then responding to her faith by saying “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.” God accounts our faith as righteousness. (Romans 4) (Galatians 3:26-29). Deliverance must be received by faith. One of the reasons that so many people in the church are not receiving deliverance is due to a lack of faith. Notice in the text that the woman came to Jesus on behalf of her daughter because she believed that Jesus was the remedy. We today believe that the psychologist, the therapist, and the medication are the solutions for people that have been “demonized” in the mind and emotions. I believe in counseling but not as a substitute for deliverance. Counseling needs to partner with deliverance. Jesus told us to cast out demons not counsel them! Today the people of God are quicker to put their children on psych medication then seeking Jesus for deliverance. When parents start seeking Jesus with unrestricted faith and start acknowledging that their children may be demonized then we will see a great breakthrough in our children.
