"Convenient Sex"

Genesis 39:6-12 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB) 6 He left all that he owned under Joseph’s authority;[a] he did not concern himself with anything except the food he ate. Now Joseph was well-built and handsome. 7 After some time[b] his master’s wife looked longingly at Joseph and said, “Sleep with me.” 8 But he refused. “Look,” he said to his master’s wife, “with me here my master does not concern himself with anything in his house, and he has put all that he owns under my authority.[c] 9 No one in this house is greater than I am. He has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. So how could I do such a great evil and sin against God?” 10 Although she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused[d] to go to bed with her.[e] 11 Now one day he went into the house to do his work, and none of the household servants were there.[f] 12 She grabbed him by his garment and said, “Sleep with me!” But leaving his garment in her hand, he escaped and ran outside. Many men fall because of "convenient sex". It's not that they went out looking for it- it pursued them. People love convenience, but everything convenient isn't good for you. I was just sharing this with my 13 year old son yesterday. I asked him how was it that Joseph(in the bible) being a handsome man, and with all the family rejection he had been through, literally had "convenient sex" thrown to him and he still said NO! The answer is he had something different inside him-integrity! I told my son integrity is like the steal box at the airport that says if your carry on doesn't "fit" you can't take it- it's a standard.
Joseph said your not my wife, so therefore having sex with you doesn't "fit"my lifestyle. Wow, integrity of steal that will not bend! I told my son I'm man enough to run from sex just like Joseph did. #higherstandards #standardsofsteal

A New Generation

In my prayer time this morning, the Lord spoke to me saying, the Next Generations X,Y, and Z will be like a Davidic Generation. Just as King David was anointed three times (1 Samuel 16:13,2 Samuel 2:4,2 Samuel 5:3)so will this generation have multiple anointings to advance the Kingdom of God. They will be anointed to have multiple streams of income to further the Kingdom of God. This new generation will not be afraid of the Giants in the Land, for this generation will be like King David and his servants that defeated the giants and all their descendants(1 Samuel 21:22) This next generation will challenge the "families hidden secrets", that the "silent generations"(our grandparents and great grandparents)swept under the rug and told the baby boomers to keep silent. They will deal with any "Giants" that will hinder their posterity. For this generation will not sit around waiting for the world to end, they will work while its day, and take advantage that there are more churches and business that need to be planted and established. They will not be like a Joshua generation that grew old and still had much land to conquer (Joshua 13:1). This new generation is not trying to cross over like a Joshua generation, they have already crossed over using technology such as facebook, instagram, and other social networks to advance the Kingdom of God. This Generation will restore the tabernacle of David (Acts 15:16-18) like never before with new ways of worship. Their worship to God will be more radical and more undignified. They will not be ashamed to worship and express themselves in dance that's anointed. They will not care who sees them worship (2 Samuel 6:20-22). They will worship in spirit and in truth. I thank God for all the generations that have gone before me. I honor their commitment, labor, and wisdom. Especially those who have set godly patterns for their families and have made room for the next Generations to come. -Apostle Emmanuel Allen (The next Generation of Apostles)

Fresh Praise

God desires to be made known throughout the earth. One of the ways God will reveal himself is through our praise. The bible says in Psalms 76:1 "In Judah God is Known"- Judah means praise. So the revelation we can get from this verse is; "In Praise God is Known". God will use the praises of the saints to reveal himself to many. This is why our churches need to be activated in prophetic worship to sing the word of God that will minister to the hearts of man. We need to sing fresh songs of God that will reveal his attributes and characteristics that will breakthrough the religious mindsets of the people. The bible says in Psalms 40:3 "He has put a new song in my mouth- Praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord". As we begin to sing fresh songs from Heaven people will begin to see our Lord, trust our Lord, and know him to be a hiding place in time of trouble. David said "you are my hiding place and you shall surround me with songs of deliverance" -Psalms 32:7. We as a church want these songs in our mouth so that the nations can not only hear them but see our God through them. ----------------------------- Another reason why I believe God is revealing himself through praise is because the mouth of the believer is powerful. The mouth is a tool used to create destiny and praise is an atmosphere changer. When you put prophetic praises inside the mouths of believers, something ignites in the atmosphere and destinies are released. The bible says in Psalms 33:6 "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth." Psalms 33:9 says "For He spoke and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.". I love being around prophetic worshipers, that know how to sing prophetically, and play prophetically because I'm always refreshed and renewed by the words they sing. As God speaks through them its as if my destiny is being established in the earth. God has a purpose for our life but his prophetic word puts life in our purpose. When we cultivate an atmosphere of prophetic praise and worship people will get a better revelation of who Jesus Christ is ----------------------------- ( Read Revelations 5:8-10, notice that it was a new song that revealed Jesus Christ). When we get a better revelation of who Jesus Christ is, it gives us hope on our journeys. Just imagine if you were going through a horrible situation and all of the sudden the praise leader shifted from singing the same songs from last week and began to sing prophetically words like " you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you and that its not by power, nor by might, but by My Spirit says the Lord!" At that moment you would have a revelation of God's ability that would minister to your heart in your current situation. ----------------------------- Unconventional Praise ----------------------------- King David established a new way of praise and worship when he raised up anointed psalmist and minstrels from the families of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, who would sing and play prophetically in the house of God (1 Chronicles 25:1;6-7). Because of their continual prophetic praises and worship, we now have the book of Psalms that give us a revelation of who God is. For instance, Psalms 50 by Asaph, reveals to us that God is a righteous judge. Psalm 68 reveals the Glory of God and how the heavens drop at his presence (Psalm 68:8). The word "drop" in the hebrew is "nataph" which means to ooze, to fall in drops, and to prophesy. See, as we get into the presence of God through praise and worship, Heavenly songs begin to ooze down and we prophesy what has been downloaded. I thank God for the songs we hear on the radio, but when was the last time your church song a new song from heaven that was custom delivered to you. #restoringthetabernacleofdavid

HE NAILED IT

Colossians 2:14 Amplified Bible (AMP) Having canceled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. Many believers don't realize all that Jesus nailed to the cross. When you nail something, it's meant to be permanent, unchangeable, unmovable, fasten, steadfast, and secure. Nailing is also symbolic for vows, words, doctrines, or covenant promises. When Jesus took our sins, our hurts, and failures, he permanently nailed them to the cross and gave us a new covenant promise that overpowers every accusation of our past made by the accuser, Satan. This means that which Jesus died for, we should never pick it back up again because HE NAILED IT. The blood was shed so that we can break out the limitations of our past sins and rise up to higher levels because we now belong to God! (1 Corinthians 7:23) Satan is a strategist and he will use people to bring up your past to try to keep you bound. Sometimes he will use your own thinking to set up limitations in the mind. He will release thoughts like “I'm not good enough”, “ I never really was good at anything”, or “My past is so messed up, no one will ever listen to me”, etc. The truth of the matter is your past probably was a “hot mess” but God set aside and cleared completely out of your way every sin and demonic assignment against your life.
God gives good futures! (Jeremiah 29:11) This does not happen automatically you must receive and appropriate what God has done through Christ Jesus on the cross. Jesus died for the sins of the world but the whole world is not saved until they confess and receive Jesus Christ. This principle also applies to believers who have not fully received (appropriated) all that Jesus died for, but pick up their bondage again. This is why we as the church need so much deliverance! Your past sin has legal authority only if you choose to walk in it, but once you realize He Nailed It, then you will walk in the power of freedom. This is why Satan strategizes to get you to pick it up again because he doesn't have the power to remove it from the cross but the power of free will enables you to. Jesus disarmed Satan's kingdom (Colossians 2:15) but that doesn't mean that they don't have legal authority. Sin gives them legal authority, so let sin stay on the cross. As long as sin is on the cross and out of our lives, we will see victories. Another strategy of the enemy is legalism. Satan will use religious folks with their dogmatic rules to keep you in bondage. Don't let man's unscriptural traditions cancel out what God's word says concerning you (Mark 7:13). Walk in freedom because He Nailed It!
